I always add stuffing to my turkeys for Thanksgiving and use an old-fashioned simple recipe of bread pieces, celery, and onions. Because hot stuffing is used, it is safe.
Following the directions on Albers Cornmeal box makes good cornbread, but if you want something even tastier, try this recipe made with buttermilk.

This bread is tried and true. Easy and wonderful. I have some French bread pans to bake it in. The pizza dough is good too.
