Down the Hatch!

I don’t like my food too spicy, but I like some spice.  This chicken curry fits the bill.

Chicken pot pie takes a bit of time to make especially when you make your own crust.

Get out your slow cooker for this meal of chicken thighs, bacon, frozen pearl onions, and mushrooms.  After the prep work, give yourself 4 to 5 hours in the slow cooker.

This is a nice simple dish.  Serve mushroom sauce over chicken with rice.

One of my favorite meals is homemade fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.  Frozen green peas make an easy side dish.

A savory sauce made from a mixture of soy sauce, sherry, ginger, sugar, and garlic make this a special dish.  Serve with stir-fry asparagus with shiitake mushrooms and white rice.

This stir-fry makes a nice weekday meal.  You can substitute Bok Choy for the Napa Cabbage.

This is a quick way to make chicken.  Serve it with rice..

I buy my turkeys fresh and dry-brine them before roasting.  Bread stuffing with celery, onions and water chestnuts, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce with raspberries. steamed string beans, and pumpkin pie make for a great Thanksgiving meal.
