gravy for fried chicken


Giblets, fried

3 tablespoons oil from fried chicken

About 2 tablespoons flour

2 cups milk heated in microwave one minute







  1. Chop the giblets fine.
  2. In the same pan you fried the chicken, heat the saved oil in pan over medium low heat.
  3. Add flour and combine it with oil. Add about ½ cup water, stirring continually.
  4. Add milk a little at a time until you have the consistency you’d like, stirring all the time.
  5. Continue to stir and add the chopped giblets along with salt and pepper to taste.


Serve immediately
